Weddings

I love playing acoustic guitar at wedding ceremonies. Music provides such an important backdrop to a couples special day. In my many years experience I have found that couples I wor with want a wedding that’s unique. As a wedding guitarist, I get asked to play anything from Led Zeppelin to Jason Mrazz more so than I am he Wedding March. That said,I have a good selection of traditional wedding themes.More than enough to suit all tastes.Either way, my style and repertoire allow you to build a wedding ceremony that’s very unique and extremely personal

The process.

Every couple is different with music. Some have very specific ideas. Others want a little more help.I enjoy taking the time to develop the playlist you’re looking for. We can meet, through material and figure out what works. If you like, we can also meet four to eight weeks prior to the ceremony to do a final run-through of major cues.

Fees and performance duration.

I charge a flat fee for up to two hours of playing. This fee varies with travel and sound requirements. I can work to fit most budgets.

Each event is unique but here are some general guidelines

  • Wedding Ceremonies $350-$500

  • Wedding Cocktail Hour $350-$400

  • Wedding Reception (3 hours) $400-$750

  • Wedding Rehearsal Dinner (3 hours) $300-$500 *additional hours available

Many couples bundle my services and doing so saves money.

  • Wedding and Reception Combined $600-$900

  • Wedding, Cocktail Hour and Reception Combined $700-$1,000

  • Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Cocktail Hour and Reception Combined $850-$1,250 plus one night lodging

Please note, there are a lot of variables and moving parts to making the music just right at your wedding. I will do my very best to work with you to not only provide the music you want but at a price that fits within your budget.

Pre ceremony.

Pre ceremony music is very important to set the ambience and flow of the proceedings. Some light background instrumental songs while family and guests are arriving and being seated,is a great ice breaker. Couples usually allow me to choose from my repertoire unless they have favorite requests.

Ceremony / processional.

Typically, personal songs are requested for the bridal party entrance and sometimes during the ceremony itself.Should the requested song not be in my repertoire I will be happy, given enough notice, to perfect it for your big day.

Equipment.

Depending on where you are getting married influences the type of sound equipment required to ensure you have a musically memorable day. Or maybe you are having an intimate, private beach ceremony and prefer some unplugged acoustic guitar accompanyment . Either way I can provide the right setup for your music enjoyment at a volume level that is suitable for the ambience of the big day with out being intrusive.

I use quality sound and PA equipment and also have spare mics should you require them for any speeches or guest performers.

The songs below were amongst the most requested by couples in 2018 .

I have many more covering multi genre music as well as traditional wedding pieces. To be performed instrumentally or with vocal accompanyment
